Drone flying : Winter beauty.

A winter hush between passing showers opened just enough space today, Januarie 3rd, 2026, to capture the snow-covered landscape with the drone. The fresh, untouched snow created scenes that feel almost magical. Take a moment to enjoy the music and the footage, created by Wilco den Besten a brief pause filled with calm, atmosphere, and winter beauty.

Tribute to Heukelum (dutch song)

A bright, catchy melody can sometimes capture the spirit of a place better than anything else. That’s exactly what happened when I started working on a cheerful sing‑along song about Heukelum. The idea came to me almost out of nowhere, but as the song grew, it turned into a genuine tribute to a village full of warmth, history, and that unmistakable Dutch gezelligheid. From the very first line, “In Heukelum daar is het goed, het is daar altijd feest,” I knew I wanted the song to reflect the feeling of being there.

Still don,t know, still moving

I wrote this song from a quiet, honest place. It’s about moving forward without knowing exactly where you’re headed, yet trusting the rhythm that keeps pulling you along. About learning, letting go, and discovering that not knowing can sometimes be the place where you finally breathe.

I’m really curious what you think of it how it lands with you, what it brings up, whether you recognize something of yourself in it. Feel free to share your thoughts; it means a lot to me.

By the Water’s Edge

By the Water’s Edge is A Song About Love, Fate & Moonlight, new chapter in my musical journey. This song was born by the water’s edge, where silence speaks, moonlight glows, and two worlds gently collide. Created with the help of AI, but driven by real emotion. The lyrics tell of a moment that changed everything. Of diving into the unknown, hand in hand. Of love that began where the water softly sings. Listen, feel, enjoy and leave a comment to let me know what it sparked in you. Your thoughts mean a lot.

Born from Curiosity

Sometimes you do something simply out of curiosity. I was just playing around with music, experimenting with sounds and words without any real plan. Just seeing what might happen. To my own surprise, a Christmas song suddenly emerged one that felt warmer and more sincere than I ever expected.

The song is about light in dark times, about coming together, and about wishing the world could slow down for a moment. And because it felt like a shame to keep it to myself, I released it right away on the major streaming platforms, including Spotify. What started as a little joke turned into a small Christmas greeting that I’m happy to share with others.

On a clear day above the Hagestein Weir and Lock Complex, you really get to see how special this place is. As the drone slowly rises, the entire structure unfolds beneath you: the large radial gates arching gracefully over the river Lek, the locks that have been doing their job since 1960, and the water flowing in a steady, almost natural rhythm. From the air, the whole scene has a calm beauty you simply don’t notice as much from the ground.
